WELCOME TO SCIENCE!

Today we will make a 3-tab book as a study guide.
Please locate the folded piece of construction paper and related papers in your envelope of weekly paperwork.

On the first sheet of white paper, please color the three rectangles marked:
ADAPTATIONS ARE ..., 
PLANT ADAPTATIONS ..., 
ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS ...

Next, please cut out the colored rectangles and glue them to the front cover of your construction paper study guide, one rectangle in each of the three spaces provided. (For reference, please look at the study guide pictured on page 143 of your Science textbook.)

Then, please cut the front cover (only the front cover) on the dotted lines which are marked there. 

Now it's time to work on the inside of the study guide.

• Please look at the section titled "Visual Summary" on page 143 of your textbook.

• Please open the flap marked 'Adaptations' on your study guide cover. The section which you see inside is where you should copy the information from page 143 regarding ADAPTATIONS.
  
  PLEASE REPEAT THE ABOVE PROCESS FOR THE TWO REMAINING SECTIONS OF YOUR STUDY GUIDE.
