WELCOME TO SCIENCE!
It is time to study for a test on 'Animals and Their Parts,' which we will take tomorrow. To help us study, today in Science we will create a 'Foldable' Study Guide.
In your envelope of paperwork for this week you will find two sheets of paper marked with today's date and printed with fold lines. If you fold those sheets of paper at the fold lines they can be assembled into a booklet. (You can find an example of the booklet on page 49 of your textbook. After assembly, you are welcome to staple the booklet if you like.)
On the cover, please draw a picture of an animal of your choice (see the sample in your Science textbook on p. 49).
You will notice each page has a topic title. As you move through the booklet pages, please write information/facts about the topics on those pages. For example, on the page marked 'How Animals Move,' I might go back in my textbook and look at page 45 where it tells how different animals move. After rereadnig it, I might write about the strong legs some animals have. There are many other facts which you can also write in your booklet.
Please continue to record the related facts on each topic page of your booklet.
I hope you find this work challenging but fun! ----------------------------
FOR SUBMISSION: This foldable booklet is intended as a study guide for tomorrow's Science test. Please submit your foldable booklet at the end of the week, after you have completed the test. Thank you!
