Projects completed for this year.  KDG: After reading Yertle the Turtle, students stacked "turtle shells" after rolling a die to determine the number of shells to add to the stack. The record was 23! KDG & Gr. 1: Students made patterns using Lego bricks to coincide with the Storybook Quilt Collection displayed in the library. Students also made patterns with themselves, a dark hair-light hair pattern on a Wacky Wednesday and a red-blue pattern with their shoes. KDG: After reading Not a Stick, students created something with a pipe-cleaner 'stick'.
