WELCOME TO HANDWRITING!
Today's challenge is to practice 'joinings' (connecting one letter to the next) and words.
Please take a look at the photo on page 67 of your Handwriting book.
In a way, the children holding hands resemble the joining of letters in a word.
There isn't a blue rectangle for you to trace on this page, but how about 'skywriting' the joinings you see?
►With your index finger, trace the cursive letters 'ea' in midair. Now try skywriting the rest of the
joinings you see written on the top line.
►Now position your Handwriting book and grip your pencil correctly for writing.
►Carefully trace the letters with your pencil.
►Then, write the joinings and words on the lines provided.
►When you finish, please circle your best letter, joining, or word.
Congratulations! Your cursive handwriting is improving every day!
