Four Valedictorians!
At St. Joan of Arc, we are always incredibly proud of the many former students who distinguish themselves in high school. This year, the Class of 2019 (SJA Class of 2015), held a distinction of historical importance. For the first time in the history of St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, FOUR of our former students were named valedictorians at their Catholic high schools!
Regina High School
Elizabeth Nosek - Valparaiso University
Monica Pitlock - Loyola University Chicago
DeLaSalle Collegiate
Joseph Schaeffer-Michigan State University
Austin Catholic High School
Christian Spearman-Xavier University
These incredibly bright, hard-working, dedicated students excelled in high school, earning summa cum laude honors, and succeeding in a variety of activities from Student Council, National Honor Society, Forensics, and Choir, to athletic pursuits like soccer and baseball.
May God Bless Elizabeth, Monica, Joseph, Christian, and their families on the next leg of their journeys. The Charger Nation beams with pride and rejoices with them!
Eagle Scout Project in the Works
David Chomicz, SJA Class of 2018, is working toward his Eagle Scout Badge. He is making improvements to the landscaping around the St. Joan of Arc Church by adding two retaining walls with new plantings. God Bless your efforts David! More Charger Pride!
