Hello Chargers!  

I am so excited for another school year to begin. My first teaching job was as a sixth grade teacher here at St. Joan. After many years of being a stay at home mom, working as a substitute teacher, as an ESL teacher, and a sixth grade teacher, at another school, I found my way back home, to SJA.  I love teaching fifth grade, because the students are amazing!

I have been married for 35 years, and have two daughters, and three cats.  I love spending time in and near the water.  My husband I swim, everyday, when the weather cooperates.  We also enjoy taking our jet ski out on Lake St. Clair.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, visiting with family and friends, vacationing, and watching movies.  I also spend a great deal of time looking for new and exciting teaching materials that I can incorporate into our curriculum.
